Candidates who want to cancel their exam registration and request a refund of their exam fee must submit a written request to the IEEE CBP Service Center. Candidates should review the cancellation and rescheduling information published in the IEEE CBP Candidate Bulletin for full details.
How and where is the exam administered?
The IEEE CBP exams are administered on computer by Prometric at one of the Prometric testing centers located around the world. Candidates can visit http://www.prometric.org/IEEEBiometrics and select “Locate a test center” to find the test center closest to them. A list of the countries where the IEEE CBP exam is offered is printed in the IEEE CBP Candidate Bulletin.

Candidates will receive their test results before leaving the test center on the day of their exam.
How should I interpret my score report?
The scale score for the CBP exam ranges from 200 to 800, with the passing point at a scale score of 500. If you receive a scale score equal to or greater than 500, your score report will have only the word "PASS." If you receive a scale score less than 500, you will have a numeric scaled score and the word "FAIL" printed on your score report. The score report will also include diagnostic information to help the unsuccessful candidate identify strengths and weaknesses in the major content areas of the exam.
